CBTP-Module 1 Pilot Test

21.3.2022

Students from Maritime Safety and Environmental Administration (MSEA) specialization at World Maritime University have participated in a pilot test of SAFEMODE Capacity building training package. The first phase of the pilot consisted of sessions on human factors and human performance, human limitations and capabilities, systems thinking, putting human error into context, safety culture, and human factors capability in maritime and aviation provided by Deep Blue, EUROCONTROL, University of Strathclyde, and World Maritime University. A second phase will follow with sessions on SAFEMODE developments and Human Factors policy gaps and recommendations.

SAFEMODE Human Assurance Toolkit

The 4th interview for the evaluation of the SAFEMODE Human Factors Toolkit was held with NTUA. In the focus of the feedback session were two factsheets: Critical Incident Technique which is a Task and Human Activity Analysis and HEART, a method for Human Reliability Assessment.
